The Vision
The Terrace at Castillo del Sol is an expansive outdoor living space designed for contemplation, gathering, and connection with the natural surroundings. Featuring custom-upholstered seating in vibrant botanical prints, natural stone tables, and sweeping views of the Costa Rican mountains and gardens.
The space is designed to blur the boundary between interior and exterior — with covered archways, classical columns, and lush plantings creating a seamless transition from the castle's opulent interiors to the open sky.
The 'Black Hole' element refers to a unique architectural feature — a contemplative void space within the terrace design that serves as a visual and spiritual anchor point.
